Klootwyk Racing Inc. was established in 2005 by Jason,
Jamie, and Joe Klootwyk. Growing up in rural Knoxville, IA,
the brothers began attending weekly races at Knoxville
Raceway at a young age, and have been loyal fans of
sprintcar racing ever since. In 2005 this love for the sport
spawned Klootwyk Racing Inc. with the purpose to own and
operate a 410 Sprintcar race team. The business was formally
incorporated in 2006, and the #3 sprinter hit the track
three times in preparation for the 2007 season.
Jason Klootwyk, 31, is a graduate from Iowa State
University. Jason lives and works in Albany, IL; employed by
Bunge North America, where he is Commercial Manager for the
Northern District. Jason and his wife Jennifer have three
sons, Jacob, Jared, and Justin.
Jamie Klootwyk, 29, is also an Iowa State graduate. Jamie is
employed by Trane as an Account Manager in their West Palm
Beach, FL office. Jamie and his wife Trina reside in
Wellington, FL with their two children, Erica and Kaden.
Joe Klootwyk, 26, is currently enrolled at Iowa State
University. A military veteran, Joe saw combat duty in
Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving in the U.S. Army from
2001 through 2005. Joe is co-owner of Fenders Cycle and
Motorsport Inc. located in Des Moines, IA. He and his wife
Rochelle, live in Knoxville, IA. They have one son, Lukas.
